PRINCE GEORGE - The first quarter for new house sales in the city has seen a tremendous spike. According to Canada Mortgage and House, 37 new homes sold in the first quarter of 2017, while 137 were sold in the first four months of this year. And the CMHC says there's a reason for that.

PRINCE GEORGE — A ribbon-cutting took place today in front of a new home being built in the Aberdeen Glen area of the city. The 3,084 square foot rancher-style house is being built by Copper Falls Custom Home Builders.

The Stream to Sea program allows school children to rear salmon fry from egg-stage in October through to June. The fry are then released into the Nechako River. The idea is to teach the children about the fish, their habitat and the ecosystem in general.

PRINCE GEORGE — Once again, Prince George is ahead of the rest. Members of the Fire Department, the military, BC Ambulance Service and Corrections were on hand for the launch of Honour Cabin. It will be built in Prince George and ultimately shipped to Kamloops for the new Honour Ranch.
