The temperatures have fluctuated since the beginning of the winter season. The Prince George area has experienced rain events, to a drop in temperature close to minus 30's. It's forecast temperatures are on the rise.

Local RCMP is asking the public's help in locating a wanted man for several offences including a recent home invasion robbery. 27-year-old, Ivan Christopher Skin remains at large after police responded to a home invasion robbery on Redwood Street during the evening of December 28, 2017.

Crews from three halls are working on a structure fire on Opal Drive. An outbuilding at 7761 Opal Drive is fully engulfed. Local traffic was diverted as crews extinguished the blaze and kept it from getting into the home. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Let's face it, the cold weather is tough on everyone, including mechanics. The City is part owner of an electric car and, if any weather puts it to the test, it is winter. But the City's car has come through with flying colours.
