QUESNEL - The health care assistant program at the College of New Caledonia (CNC) campus in Quesnel is getting an expansion. Fifteen additional students will be able to learn the skills of an in-demand career as health-care assistants.
SMITHERS - The dust advisory that was issued in Prince George yesterday has ended, due to improved air quality. The advisory was originally issued because of dusty conditions caused by road traffic on busy roads and industrial operations.
VICTORIA — A worker's rights group says it's happy that the BC government plans to close the wage gap between liquor servers and the province's minimum wage, but it would prefer the change happens sooner.
