PRINCE GEORGE - For many years programs have been in place to stop the decline of the BC's Mountain Caribou. Despite the best efforts of government programs, the caribou population continue to fall.

More Charging Stations Coming

PRINCE GEORGE - BC Hydro is moving on to the next phase of its ambitious plans to have BC completely connected with charging stations.

It has just wrapped up the first two phases of the project, which involves connecting the East Kootenays to Vancouver and connecting Vancouver Island.


Fawn Sighting At UNBC

PRINCE GEORGE- Yesterday, staff and students at UNBC got a lucky glimpse of a pair of newborn fawns. Early in the morning a mother deer moseyed onto campus and found a safe spot in the Wabooz Garden. There, she gave birth to two babies.

UNBC Looks To Agriculture

PRINCE GEORGE - UNBC is looking to branch into agriculture. It has launched the UNBC Agriculture Research Network Pilot Project, with alumnus Serena Black as the Specialist tasked with the job of coordinating the resources at UNBC to look at the opportunity.

Flood Relief Donations

VANCOUVER - Almost $66,000 in donations were collected for the Canadian Red Cross to help residents affected by spring flooding, thanks to the generosity of BC Liquor Store customers.

The Terrace location was among the top five locations with the most donations with about $5,000.
